Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

Training Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST, Monday–Friday

Post-Training Schedule: Flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM CST, Monday–Friday

Weekly Hours : 40

PAY RATE : $38 - $42/Hr

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Coding Auditor II to perform inpatient facility coding audits, DRG validation, coding quality reviews, and compliance assessments. The ideal candidate will have extensive acute care inpatient coding experience, including trauma coding, and a strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRGs, and APR-DRGs.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of hospital/facility inpatient coding experience
• Current certification: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC .
• Inpatient account coding involving Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic, Orthopedic, and General/Oncology Surgery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an academic medical center or trauma center.
• Experience with EPIC and Solventum/3M 360.
• Knowledge of MS-DRGs and APR-DRGs.
• Experience with complex acute care inpatient coding and DRG validation.
