Observability Solutions Architect

High Level Summary:

We are seeking experienced and highly skilled IT Solution Architect to join our Monitoring and Event Management Design Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise monitoring and observability solutions that ensure the performance, health, resiliency, and availability of IT assets. This role involves collaboration with multiple design leads and stakeholders to deliver innovative and scalable monitoring solutions using a wide range of technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of enterprise monitoring, observability, and event management solutions.
• Collaborate with subject matter expert across various domains including Event Management, Function Apps, Azure Monitor, App Dynamics, Grafana, ThousandEyes, and more.
• Develop and sustain observability and monitoring standards aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Design monitoring services for applications across SAAS, IAAS, and PAAS platforms.
• Engage with business units to gather requirements and deliver cost-effective monitoring solutions.
• Drive innovation through proof-of-concept initiatives and automation strategies.

Critical Selection Criteria:

1. Communication and Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with technical and business staff and communicate complex IT concepts effectively.

2. Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in multiple IT domains, understand requirements from the Product Owners and other architects to be able to design enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.

3. Analytical Thinking: and capability to analyze problems, develop creative solutions, and assess risks/benefits.

• Enterprise Observability Architecture: Designing end-to-end solutions that collect, analyze, and present operational data. Log ingestion and telemetry. Data analytics and visualization.
• AIOps Architecture: Designing intelligent solutions for managing and correlating operational events. Event management. Alert correlation.
• Site Reliability Engineering Practices: Applying reliability measures to monitor and improve service performance. Service Level Indicators (SLIs). Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
• Enterprise Network Monitoring Strategy: Defining monitoring approaches across infrastructure, networks, and digital services. Endpoint monitoring. Network monitoring. Synthetic monitoring
• Automation and API Integration Architecture: Designing automated integrations across platforms and delivery workflows. System and API integration. Workflow automation. DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
