What if your therapy room was wherever your client feels most at home?
For this team, that could mean a living room one morning, a school playground at lunch and a local café by the afternoon. This is community-based allied health the way it's meant to be. You go to your clients, you build real relationships with their families and support networks, and you see your work make a difference in their everyday lives.
Our client is a well-regarded, fully registered NDIS provider. They're a mobile, multidisciplinary team of OTs, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians and Therapy Assistants serving families across West and South Western Sydney. The team is small, close-knit and multilingual, and it's growing. They are looking for an Occupational Therapist and a Speech Pathologist to join them.
Why clinicians stay
This is a team known for sticking with clients when things get tough. They pair genuine warmth with practical, evidence-based therapy. Every client starts with a thorough assessment. Goals are set together with the client and the people who support them. Progress is tracked and reported clearly at the end of each NDIS plan, so you'll always see the difference you're making.
You'll work across NDIS and private clients of all ages, with a broad clinical scope and a real mix of cases, including complex ones. Caseloads are realistic, not inflated. You set your own hours and plan your week around your life. Admin and planning days can be done from home. Fortnightly face-to-face catch-ups keep you connected to the team.
Support is there when you want it, and you have independence when you don't. That includes weekly supervision and plenty of cross-disciplinary collaboration, whether you're a Speechie working alongside an OT on a shared goal or the other way around.
What's in it for you
You'll get a competitive base salary plus fortnightly bonuses and travel expenses. Your professional development is fully funded every year, and you choose the conference or course. There's also a paid mental health day every month, because this team believes wellbeing comes first. And you'll join a workplace where everyone knows your name.
What you'll bring
For the OT role: a degree in Occupational Therapy, AHPRA registration and OTA membership.
For the Speech Pathology role: a degree in Speech Pathology and SPA membership.
For both roles: a driver's licence, a reliable car and Australian work rights.
You'll love this role if… you thrive on variety and don't want every day to look the same. You enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life and all cultures. Community work excites you more than a clinic ever could. You want your career to grow in confidence without it taking over your life.
