Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and potential limitations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on improving patients' abilities to perform daily living activities, such as dressing, grooming, and bathing
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care and support
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including exercises, activities, and equipment, to promote patients' recovery and independence
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and address any concerns or questions

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Indiana
• Minimum of 0 years of experience in occupational therapy; new graduates welcome to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients of varying weights and abilities
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and ability to learn new systems quickly
