Therapy Innovations is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (or skilled COTA) to join our growing multidisciplinary pediatric therapy team. We provide Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy to children in clinic settings designed specifically for engaging, play-based therapy .

Our clinics feature large sensory gyms, extensive therapy equipment, and collaborative treatment environments where therapists work closely together to support each child’s development. We are especially interested in an OT with strong knowledge of motor development and sensory processing, and experience or interest in pediatric feeding therapy and infant development.

Position Overview

The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations and individualized therapy for children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and motor skill difficulties.

Therapists work with children to improve functional skills needed for daily activities, play, school participation, and independence.

Our OTs commonly work with children who have:

• Sensory processing challenges
• Developmental delays
• Fine motor delays
• Motor planning and coordination difficulties
• Self-care and daily living skill delays
• Autism spectrum disorder
• Feeding challenges
• Infant developmental delays

Strong candidates will have experience or interest in:

• Pediatric motor development
• Sensory processing / sensory integration strategies
• Pediatric feeding therapy
• Infant handling and early developmental intervention
• Fine motor and visual motor development
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with PT and SLP

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric occupational therapy evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary therapy team
• Educate caregivers and provide home programs
• Maintain timely documentation

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
• North Carolina OT License (or eligibility)
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

New graduates with strong pediatric fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply.
