Occupational Therapist

• Evaluate patients physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial abilities
• Identify functional limitations affecting daily activities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on
• Implement therapy programs to improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide training in self-care, mobility, and functional tasks
• Conduct hand therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, and sensory integration therapy
• Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
• Facilitate return to work, school, and community activities
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety
• Maintain accurate patient records, assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
• Prepare therapy reports for interdisciplinary teams and insurance requirements
• Work closely with physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and nurses
• Participate in case conferences and rehabilitation planning
• Coordinate care to ensure comprehensive patient management
• Provide occupational therapy services across age groups as assigned
• Address developmental delays, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and mental health needs
