Occupational Therapist

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Neuro Rehabilitation Centre, providing occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation for both In-Patient (IP) and Out-Patient (OP) services.

The candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and provide patient-centred therapy based on individual rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and provide occupational therapy for patients with neurological and physical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.
• Provide therapy to improve activities of daily living, functional independence, coordination, balance, and motor skills.
• Provide upper-limb rehabilitation and functional training.
• Assist patients in improving independence in daily activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and caregivers.
• Coordinate with the PMR physician, physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, nurses, and other members of the rehabilitation team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and therapy documentation.
• Provide occupational therapy services for both IP and OP patients.

Qualifications

• BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy) or MOT (Master of Occupational Therapy)
• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
• Valid professional registration as applicable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in working in a Neuro Rehabilitation setting.

Preferred

• Candidates with experience in neuro rehabilitation will be an added advantage.
• Candidates from Kasaragod and surrounding areas are preferred.
• Willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
