About the Role

Are you looking for the freedom of a contract position with the support of a mission-driven agency? Absolute Home Health LLC is seeking a dedicated, independent Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality, personalized care to clients across Wake County.

As a contracted therapist, you will have the autonomy to manage your caseload while helping clients regain independence in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about functional outcomes and "aging in place."

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive home-based evaluations to determine functional limitations and safety risks.
• Tailored Interventions: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and home modifications.
• Collaborative Care: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (RNs, PTs, and Case Managers) to ensure seamless patient transitions and holistic care.
• Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate clinical notes in compliance with state and federal regulatory standards.
• Specialized Support: Provide expert therapy for diverse populations, including pediatrics (Autism/Early Intervention) and geriatrics.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of North Carolina.
• Clinical Versatility: Experience in home health, acute care, or outpatient settings. (ICU or post-acute experience is a major plus!)
• Adaptability: Ability to work independently in the field and navigate diverse home environments.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to educate families and caregivers effectively.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfort with electronic documentation and mobile communication.

Pay: $46.45 - $55.93 per hour

Work Location: On the road
