Occupational Therapist

About the role

Aura Health Rehab is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis. Based in San Juan City, Metro Manila, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in clients' lives by helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life through therapeutic interventions. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be at the heart of our rehabilitation services, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalised, evidence-based occupational therapy to diverse client populations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, emotional and social functioning
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each client's goals, needs and functional abilities
• Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions using therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment and activity-based approaches
• Educate clients and their families about adaptive strategies, energy conservation techniques and environmental modifications to promote independence
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, speech therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on therapeutic outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with regulatory and organisational standards
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to contribute occupational therapy expertise
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and healthcare team members regarding therapy progress and recommendations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Valid and current Occupational Therapist licensure or registration in the Philippines
• Demonstrated clinical experience in occupational therapy practice, particularly in rehabilitation or healthcare settings
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy assessment tools, treatment methodologies and evidence-based practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse client populations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and record-keeping
• Compassion, patience and commitment to client-centred care
• Professional demeanour with strong ethical standards
• Experience in areas such as physical rehabilitation, neurological conditions, hand therapy or paediatric occupational therapy would be advantageous
