Job Summary
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals across various settings. You will assess patients' needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to help them achieve their goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting patients with disabilities, geriatrics, pediatrics, and those requiring acute care. What you’ll do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective discharge planning and case management.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Utilize your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform treatment strategies.
• Deliver early intervention services to support pediatric patients in reaching developmental milestones.
• Engage with patients in various settings including inpatient facilities, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, and home health environments.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

Basic qualifications

• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices related to occupational health.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities and geriatric populations.
• Familiarity with speech therapy techniques as part of a holistic approach to patient care.
• Previous experience in acute care or ICU settings is highly desirable.
• Background in skilled nursing facility or post-acute care environments is a plus.
• Experience in school settings or early intervention programs is advantageous.

Pay: $30.00 - $80.00 per hour
