Occupational Therapist

About Us:
Physionest Wellness Clinic is a multidisciplinary healthcare facility located in Mississauga. Our integrated team includes physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropodists, naturopathic doctors, acupuncturists, and massage therapists. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team to support patients in achieving independence and improving their quality of life through customized therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ functional abilities, needs, and goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance daily living skills and promote independence
• Provide therapeutic interventions, education, and adaptive strategies to support patients in home, work, and community settings
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, patient-centered care
• Document assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes accurately and in compliance with professional standards
• Advocate for patients and connect them with appropriate resources, equipment, or support services

Qualifications:

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
• Experience in clinical or community occupational therapy preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
