Key Responsibilities and Clinical Care:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess motor, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving independence in activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs, work, and leisure.
• Apply evidence-based interventions, including task-specific training, cognitive rehabilitation, upper extremity rehabilitation, adaptive equipment training, and compensatory strategies.
• Utilize standardized assessments to track progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and other team members to ensure coordinated, holistic care.

Professional Growth & Team Contribution:

• Stay current with emerging research, best practices, and technologies in neurologic rehabilitation.
• Contribute to team case conferences, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and support students, assistants, or new team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license (or eligibility) to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in neurologic rehabilitation strongly preferred (inpatient, outpatient, or community-based).
• Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration.
