Duties

• Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques across various settings such as hospitals, clinics, or community centers
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, social workers, and caregivers to ensure cohesive patient care
• Monitor progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs to promote ongoing improvement
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Valid licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist in accordance with local regulatory bodies
• Proven experience working in hospital environments is highly preferred
• Strong case management skills to coordinate care effectively across multiple disciplines
• Experience working with pediatric populations is a valuable asset
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices
• Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings
• Excellent communication skills to engage patients and collaborate with healthcare teams effectively

Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
