Occupational Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with adult individuals, particularly focusing on cognitive rehabilitation. This role involves assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance their ability to be more independent. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support for the patients. This is a very part-time position, only working 3-8 hours per week.

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social capabilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving daily living skills and overall functionality.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and strategies.
• provide group cognitive rehabilitation treatment.
• Stay updated on best practices in occupational health and therapy techniques.

Experience

• Proven experience working with individuals with brain injuries is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches based on individual patient needs.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $44.00 - $46.00 per hour
