We're Hiring! Full-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist

OWL Pediatric Therapy | Westford, MA

Join Our Growing Team!

OWL Pediatric Therapy LLC is a therapist-owned, multidisciplinary pediatric clinic seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our growing team in Westford, Massachusetts.

Our clinical priorities are evidence-based practice, a family-centered approach, and neurodiversity-affirming care. We work from a strengths-based lens and believe in providing meaningful, compassionate, and highly individualized therapy.

Our clinic provides speech-language and occupational therapy services to children with a diverse range of developmental profiles, strengths, and support needs. We value collaboration, clinical curiosity, and creating an environment where both children and clinicians can thrive.

We are looking for an OT who is passionate about working with children, enjoys collaborating with families and other professionals, and is excited to help shape our growing occupational therapy program.

About the Position

Our occupational therapy services support children in developing the skills needed to participate meaningfully in everyday activities at home, school, and in the community.

Areas of treatment may include:

  • Sensory processing and regulation
  • Fine motor coordination and visual-motor integration
  • Gross motor development and motor planning
  • Self-care and activities of daily living
  • Executive functioning and organizational skills
  • Handwriting
  • Emotional regulation and participation in daily routines
  • Play, social participation, and functional independence

Our clinic features two dedicated sensory-motor gym spaces, along with individual treatment rooms.

Caseloads are thoughtfully balanced and include children with a wide range of strengths, needs, and developmental profiles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy services to children using evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using standardized assessments, clinical observations, and caregiver interviews.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each child's strengths, needs, and family priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with families, providing education, practical strategies, and opportunities to support skill development in everyday routines.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and recommendations.
  • Stay current with research and evidence-based practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, mentorship, and collaborative clinical discussions.
  • Contribute to community outreach activities and opportunities to support local families and educators.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Massachusetts state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to starting.
  • Experience working with children with diverse developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs in clinical and/or educational settings.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for working with children and commitment to neurodiversity-affirming, family-centered practices.
  • Experience with sensory integration approaches, motor planning, and pediatric intervention is preferred.
  • New graduates with strong pediatric clinical experience are encouraged to apply. Mentorship will be provided
  • This is a 40-hour-per-week position. Due to high demand for after-school appointments, preference will be given to applicants who can work a schedule that extends into the early evening (approximately 6:00–6:30 PM).

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Employer-sponsored health insurance
  • Retirement plan with 3% employer matching contribution
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Continuing education support, including funding and dedicated professional development time
  • Paid professional association dues
  • Opportunities for mentorship, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional growth
  • Supportive, collaborative work environment
  • Two well-equipped sensory-motor gyms and dedicated individual treatment spaces

Why Join OWL?

As a growing, therapist-owned practice, we are committed to creating a workplace where clinicians feel valued, supported, and empowered to do meaningful work. We prioritize opportunities for mentorship, dedicated time for documentation and clinical planning, and regular interdisciplinary collaboration.

Our two sensory-motor gym spaces offer clinicians the flexibility and resources to design engaging, individualized treatment sessions. We are excited to welcome an OT who shares our values and wants to grow alongside our team.

Don't take it from us. One employee recently shared, "I truly feel valued and supported here. The owner is thoughtful and transparent, and the work-life balance is amazing. I love being part of a collaborative, fun, and genuinely caring team."
