Occupational Therapist

Overview

Join our care team as an Occupational Therapist and help people build skills, independence, and confidence in daily life. You’ll assess each person’s needs, develop individualized care plans, and deliver occupational therapy across appropriate care settings. Your impact: By tailoring treatment to each person’s goals, you help clients and families navigate daily activities and transitions in care.

Duties

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop, implement, and update treatment plans and therapy programs.
• Support patient care through activities of daily living (ADLs), physical rehabilitation, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate case management and communicate with clients, families, and interprofessional care teams, including speech therapy providers.
• Complete accurate medical and clinical documentation, manage electronic health records (EHR), and apply medical terminology.
• Use evidence-based practice and knowledge of anatomy and physiology to guide care.

Experience

• Occupational therapy experience; experience in patient care, care plans, and clinical interprofessional collaboration is relevant.
• Experience with pediatrics, pediatric occupational therapy, early intervention, geriatrics, occupational health, or individuals with disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or other neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs is relevant.
• Experience in acute care, intensive care unit (ICU), inpatient, skilled nursing facility, post-acute care, home health, outpatient, clinic, or school settings is welcome.
• Familiarity with medical documentation, clinical documentation, and EHR management is valued.

Pay: $85.00 - $100.00 per hour
