Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Description:

• Administers occupational therapy assessments to determine a student’s level of functioning relative to their age and educational placement in areas such as fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and activities of daily living.

• Prepares assessment reports identifying student needs and proposed treatment strategies; develops individual goals and objectives as part of the IEP; maintains progress records and participates in IEP meetings.

• Develops occupational therapy treatment plans to improve students’ functional abilities and enhance learning capacity.

• Provides individual and group therapy sessions to address sensory-motor integration challenges.

• Designs therapy plans aligned with educational goals in collaboration with the IEP team.

• Monitors therapy programs and collaborates with educational staff to integrate appropriate strategies into learning programs.

• Provides guidance to students and families for home-based interventions and explains assessment outcomes.

• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support student development and performance.

• Conducts evaluations using functional, behavioral, and standardized assessment tools, including observation and interviews.

• Prepares comprehensive reports highlighting strengths and areas for improvement to guide intervention planning.

• Develops intervention plans based on evaluation findings and student needs.

• Participates in multidisciplinary and IEP meetings to support integrated planning and implementation.

• Coordinates with the IEP team to ensure appropriate treatment strategies are applied.

Minimum Requirement:

• Diploma in Occupational Therapy
