Occupational Therapist - PRN

Role Overview: Provides medically prescribed occupational therapy to patients across all ages, aiming to restore function, prevent disability, and promote maximum performance for societal integration. Ensures care meets developmental and population-specific needs while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and implements individualized care plans based on medical findings and physician directives.
• Evaluates, monitors, and documents patient progress to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
• Coordinates patient care, manages resources efficiently, and designs proactive discharge plans.
• Maintains high-quality, cost-effective care aligned with departmental and third-party guidelines.
• Exceeds productivity standards through effective time management and organization.
• Communicates professionally with staff, patients, and families, demonstrating excellent customer service.
• Participates in team collaboration, conflict resolution, and supports a positive work environment.
• Completes additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current licensure by the Georgia Board.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical skills to meet developmental needs across lifespan.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical capability to perform duties, including lifting, standing, and mobility tasks.
