Occupational Therapist - PRN

Job Title: Occupational Therapist (PRN / As-Needed)

Job Summary We are seeking a warm, dependable, and adaptable Occupational Therapist to join our practice on a PRN (as-needed) basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to evaluate, treat, and support our clients' individual goals. This position offers flexible scheduling with opportunities during afterschool hours and weekends, making it an ideal fit for clinicians seeking extra income or a adaptable work-life balance. Experience in pediatrics and sensory integration is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct client evaluations and assessments to identify developmental, sensory, motor, and functional strengths and needs.
• Treatment Planning & Execution: Design and deliver individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's unique goals.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with family members, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive, client-centered care.
• Documentation: Complete timely, accurate clinical notes, evaluation reports, and progress updates in accordance with clinic standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Adaptive Management: Modify interventions, sensory strategies, and adaptive equipment recommendations based on ongoing progress assessments.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current, active Occupational Therapy license in good standing in the state of Virginia.
• Flexibility & Availability: Ability to work on an as-needed (PRN) basis, with preference given to coverage during afterschool hours.
• Clinical Experience: Prior experience in pediatric OT and sensory integration intervention is strongly preferred.
• Core Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, high dependability, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Pay: $90.00 per hour
