Occupational Therapist/Assistant

HIRING Full TIME/PER-DIEM‪ OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS/ASSISTANTS with emphasis in PEDIATRICS .

Located in Pembroke Pines, Konfetti Kidz Therapy is a privately owned, state-of-the-art facility that provides speech, physical, and occupational therapies in a pediatric outpatient setting.

• Contracted positions available with a full caseload in a supportive and friendly working environment with flexible hours and competitive pay.

‪Responsibilities and Duties

• Evaluates and develops a treatment plan outlining area of deficit and determines measurable goals.
• Recommends and provides treatment based upon medical, clinical, functional, and observational findings.
• Provides treatment based upon clinical, functional, and observational findings.
• Records daily patient documentation and charges according to facility standards.
• Communicates with family/guardians regarding treatment and findings.
• Prepares patient and family/guardians for discharge.
• Maintains ongoing continuing education to maintain professional licensure and clinical excellence.
• Supervises assistants and students as needed.

‪Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Florida Professional License
• ‪Level II background screening ‪
• ‪Current CPR /BLS card
• ‪Active NPI number for OTR
• ‪Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Fluent in English/Spanish (preferred)
