Responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of children’s needs in a supportive, team atmosphere, with good collaboration and in-person mentoring. Most importantly, you will have the power to make a difference in the lives of children.

You will:

• perform occupational therapy treatment tasks
• Counseling families on how to address common concerns
• working with other therapists to create treatment programs

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles
• current state licensure or certification

Education:

• successful completion of an associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program

Skills:

• Great verbal and nonverbal communication
• critical thinking
• detail-oriented
• time-management
• Ability to work in a team
