Overview
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to provide rehabilitative services to patients.
Duties
- Assist in developing and implementing occupational therapy care plans
- Provide direct patient care in various settings such as inpatient, pediatrics, clinics, and geriatrics
- Help patients with therapeutic activities and exercises
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with the occupational therapist to adjust care plans as needed
Requirements
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in acute care settings is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of care plans and patient care techniques
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
