Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

1099 Contractor — Full-Time or Part-Time

❤️ MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of an evaluating therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans
• Help children develop functional and developmental skills
• Provide caregiver education and support
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Collaborate with therapists, caregivers, and other members of the care team
• Assist evaluating therapists with treatment planning and reevaluations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate of Applied Science Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid Florida OTA License
• Level II fingerprinting/background clearance
• Valid Driver’s License
• Professional Liability Insurance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pediatric therapy experience ( at least 1 years)
• Feeding therapy experience
• Knowledge of sensory integration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to physically assist patients with functional activities and therapeutic exercises
• Passion for helping children reach their goals
