Occupational Therapy Assistant - Per Diem

Occupational Therapy Assistant Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, assists with patient assessments and develops individualized treatment plans for all age groups in accordance with departmental policies and standards of care.

• Conducts initial assessments and documents patient progress, treatment course, and need for continued care.
• Administers modalities, exercises, and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintains accurate progress notes and departmental records.
• Promotes education within the department and demonstrates knowledge of age-specific needs, including neonatal to geriatric populations.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by the supervisor.

Position Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Preferably has one year of experience; new graduates considered.
• BLS certification is required and must be current before providing independent patient care.
