Ocean Export Operator

Duties

· Handle operation for nominated and freehand shipment from booking to vessel departure, including both FCL and LCL shipments.

· Coordinating with customers, shipping lines, customs brokers, overseas offices / partners as well as internal departments

· Ensure all export declarations and permits are approved prior to departure to avoid penalties.

· Coordinate with internal and external to manage Ocean Export process under SOP, prepare the process crucial export documents

· Act as the primary point of contact for clients, shipping lines, overseas agents, and warehouse teams to resolve any shipping issues.

· Verify vendor invoices, handle customer billing, and assist in maintaining department profitability.

· Initiate and participate in discussion and provide possible solutions with relevant parties for any challenges to increase customer satisfaction and experience

· Data input into the system (job creation, BL issuance, AMS/ISF filings, ACI/e-Manifest / AFR / ICS2 etc.) and proceed for the FMC rate filing (USA shipment)

· Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments

· Monitor profit and loss and identify root cause for solution and improvement.

· Engage in process improvement plan for work efficiency

· Maintain high level of customer service.

· Other duties as required by management

Qualification;

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping
• Good English communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Able to work hard
• Service-minded with good communication skills
• Fast learner
• Able to work under pressure and finish work on time
• Immediate start will be an advantage
