Ocean Import Billing Officer

About the role

Ocean Billing Officer responsible for managing billing operations, invoice processing, and documentation coordination for shipping services.

Key responsibilities

• Issue customer invoices according to scheduled timelines
• Verify receipts, shipping documents, freight charges, and D/O before sending invoices to customers
• Prepare payment notices, differentiate between LCL, FCL, or consoles for each document set, and notify customers of charges
• Coordinate with bill of lading department and other departments to issue invoices with accuracy
• Issue and verify D/O receipts and charges
• Compile and sort supporting documents for billing sets
• Prepare billing document sets, arrange stamps, and dispatch to customers
• Coordinate with customers and send additional documents as needed
• Liaise with relevant departments
