OCI Support Engineer – Chennai | 3-Month Contract

About The Opportunity LetzBizz is inviting applications from experienced OCI Support Engineers for an immediate-joining, 3-month contract engagement in Chennai. The selected professional will support the OCI Lead Engineer with day-to-day cloud operations, service monitoring, incident resolution, and infrastructure administration across Development, UAT, and Production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor OCI environments for availability, performance, and capacity.
• Support compute, storage, networking, IAM, and security configurations.
• Troubleshoot incidents, alerts, and service requests.
• Assist with virtual machine provisioning, scaling, and configuration changes.
• Coordinate application releases, deployments, patching, and maintenance.
• Support Oracle EBS and other enterprise applications hosted on OCI.
• Assist with backup, restore, recovery, HA, and DR activities.
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Coordinate with application, database, and infrastructure teams.
• Follow approved change procedures, security controls, and operational best practices.

Required Qualifications And Skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Practical knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Understanding of OCI compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Experience or exposure to cloud monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows server administration.
• Ability to coordinate with technical teams and communicate operational issues clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• OCI Foundations or Associate certification.
• Oracle Database and Oracle EBS exposure.
• Bash/Python scripting.
• CI/CD and DevOps fundamentals.
• Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code exposure.
• Backup, recovery, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery experience.
