We Are Hiring: OCS Construction Manager

Project: CML1
Location: Downtown Cairo, Egypt

Colas Rail is seeking an experienced OCS Construction Manager to join the CML1 Project team based in Downtown Cairo.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all Overhead Contact System (OCS) construction and installation activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance while delivering project objectives on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all OCS construction and installation activities on site.
• Manage subcontractors, construction teams, and site resources to ensure efficient project execution.
• Coordinate with engineering, track, signaling, civil, and systems teams to ensure effective interface management.
• Monitor construction progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure full compliance with project specifications, railway standards, and HSE requirements.
• Oversee quality inspections, testing activities, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate material availability, logistics, and construction equipment requirements.
• Prepare regular progress reports and provide updates to project management.
• Support testing, commissioning, energization, and final handover activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in railway electrification and OCS construction projects.
• Proven experience managing OCS installation teams and subcontractors on large-scale railway projects.
• Strong knowledge of railway electrification systems, OCS construction methodologies, and commissioning activities.
• Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Primavera P6.
