OD Engineer

The OD Engineer drives organizational effectiveness through process improvement, employee training and development, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and business goals.

Job Description

• Organizational Development and Process Improvement: Assess organizational processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement action plans to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall organizational effectiveness.
• Employee Training and Development: Identify training needs, develop training and development plans, monitor completion, and coordinate with department heads to support employee competency development and career progression.
• Training Materials and E-Learning: Develop and maintain training materials, facilitate training sessions, and support the creation, implementation, and evaluation of e-learning programs.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Facilitate problem-solving sessions, cross-functional meetings, and improvement projects using appropriate quality tools and methodologies.
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM): Support the implementation and sustainability of TPM initiatives, including employee training, preventive maintenance awareness, workplace organization, and performance monitoring.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track training effectiveness, organizational development initiatives, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare reports and recommend improvements based on findings and results.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate training records, OD documents, procedures, and reports while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with department heads, employees, and cross-functional teams to align OD programs with business objectives and ensure effective implementation of improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering or a related course.
• Strong communication, analytical, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to collaborate across departments.
• At least two (2) years of experience in organizational development, process improvement, or training and development.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, quality management systems, and problem-solving tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development.
• Proficient in Canva, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office applications.
