What they need

ODDOBODY

CX + Studio Coordinator

40 hours per week · Richmond, VA · Hourly to start, with path to salary

THE ROLE

As the CX & Studio Coordinator at ODDO, you’ll support our daily operations and customer communications, and help our Ecomm & CX lead with website updates, product listings, launch setup, and weekly product updates. We’re also actively looking to set up a studio here in Richmond, where you’ll help manage the space and support ongoing community engagement efforts, including retail pop-ups and events.

You’ll work closely with one of ODDO’s co-founders to maintain our customer & community engagement, with a unique opportunity to grow in a fast-moving environment.

This role balances creative contribution, strong organizational skills, and communication ingenuity. You are not expected to know everything on day one; curiosity, follow-through, and care are more important than perfection.

Schedule & Working Style

  • Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
  • In-person at our Richmond, VA studio Monday–Thursday; optional remote Fridays
  • Until the studio is established: in-person at Ours, a co-working space in the Fan district.
  • Some off-hour commitments may be required for photoshoots, events, or pop-ups (with advance notice whenever possible)

We value clear communication, reliability, and respect for each other’s time.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Digital Customer Operations

  • Daily communication with customers via Gorgias
  • Daily upkeep of order issues in Shipvine (our 3pl)
  • Weekly processing of returns and exchanges approvals in Loop Returns (our return portal)
  • Address subscription platform upkeep and optimization as it arises
  • Respond to customers and update inventory offerings routinely on Faire Marketplace
  • Monthly check-in and upkeep of Mirkal dropship
  • Track ROIs and key performance data across all CX platforms
  • Support future opportunities and build-outs for customer loyalty apps and programs
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve our CX processes, surfacing patterns in customer issues and suggesting fixes.

Product Launches + Sales

  • Assist in preparing Shopify listings ahead of each launch: product pages, imagery, copy, pricing, and collections.
  • Set up discount codes, banners, and homepage updates for sales events
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve our product launch process — spotting bottlenecks, tightening the pre-launch checklist, and suggesting a better way to run launches over time
  • Generally keep things clean and organized between launches so the site is always in good shape

Studio Management

  • Assist with studio set-up, day-to-day upkeep, and scheduling of the Richmond space - keep the space clean, organized, and well stocked - product samples, office supplies, snacks
  • Research and vet local vendors, rental spots, and maker collabs for pop-ups and studio needs
  • Help coordinate and execute community events and brand activations hosted at or outside the studio - invites, sourcing tables, racks, decor, setup, breakdown, etc.
  • Assist with calendar coordination and occasional travel planning for a co-founder
  • Flag potential issues early and propose solutions when possible

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Attention to detail without losing the bigger picture
  • Clear, professional written communication—in your own voice and in our brand voice
  • Interest in bodies, health, and the conversations ODDO is working to normalize
  • Strong project management instincts—you track things, you follow up, you close loops
  • Comfort with tools and systems; you adapt quickly to new platforms
  • Alignment with ODDO’s values: care, honesty, clarity, and doing meaningful work well
  • Curiosity, attitude and follow-through—more important than knowing everything on day one

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ODDO

Direct mentorship and collaboration with a co-founder

Clear priorities and honest feedback—you will always know where you stand

A small team that takes the work seriously and has fun doing it

A role with real room to grow

COMPENSATION

40 hours/week. $25/hr to start, path to salary.

In person. Richmond, VA.

WHO WE ARE

Tamar Adler wrote:

“I’m a 48-year-old underwear model? No, I’m not — but I am a 48-year-old mother and writer and cook who thinks it’s important that we see what regular, unamended 48-year-old bodies and faces look like. When ODDOBODY offered to let me try their underwear, I said: Yes, please. ODDOBODY is unbelievably soft, made of sustainably-sourced cotton, and wearing it, you feel like whoever made it wanted you to feel just great. So, this is 48-year-old me, feeling great, in underwear by ODDOBODY.”

That quote—alongside a 2-star Nordstrom review we received for our “offensive poster” explaining female anatomy (you can see a screenshot on our instagram)— is our why.

ODDOBODY is not a wellness brand or a lingerie brand. It’s a publishing and art project that happens to sell underwear.

Most brands in this space use content as marketing. We use product as distribution. The underwear gets people in the door. The manual, the whisper network, the community — that’s what people didn’t know they needed.
