Odoo Accounting Specialist

Febno Technologies is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant & Odoo Finance Specialist to join our team in Oman.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, practical experience with Odoo Accounting, and the ability to support financial operations and ERP implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Work with Odoo Accounting modules to manage financial transactions and reporting.
• Configure and support Odoo accounting workflows based on business requirements.
• Handle bank reconciliations, financial statements, and general ledger activities.
• Assist with VAT compliance and accounting requirements in Oman.
• Support Odoo ERP implementation, testing, and user training.
• Coordinate with customers to understand their accounting processes and business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through ERP automation.
• Assist in troubleshooting accounting-related issues within Odoo.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Practical knowledge of Odoo Accounting and Finance modules.
• Good understanding of financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Oman VAT regulations and accounting practices is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical teams.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Odoo ERP implementation or functional support.
• Knowledge of Odoo invoicing, purchase, sales, and inventory accounting integration.
• Experience supporting customers with accounting system configuration.
• Understanding of ERP-based financial automation and reporting.

Pay: RO200.000 - RO350.000 per hour
