Odoo Development Instructor

Role Description The Odoo Development Instructor will design and deliver remote training sessions focused on Odoo development, configuration, and best practices. This contract role involves preparing course materials and curricula, creating hands-on exercises, and updating content to reflect the latest Odoo features and industry standards. The instructor will conduct live virtual classes, workshops, and mentoring sessions for learners with varying levels of technical expertise. Day-to-day activities include assessing learner needs, providing feedback on assignments, collaborating with internal teams to align training with organizational goals, and ensuring a high-quality learning experience. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way.

Qualifications

• Strong Training & Development and Training skills to design and deliver effective technical instruction.
• Experience in Curriculum Development for software or technical subjects, including structured lesson planning and learning objectives.
• Excellent Communication skills for remote teaching, including clear presentation, active listening, and constructive feedback.
• Background in Human Resources (HR) or learning and development is beneficial for understanding learner progression and evaluation.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Odoo development, including Python, Odoo framework, and module customization.
• Familiarity with software development practices, version control (e.g., Git), and basic database concepts.
• Ability to facilitate online classes using virtual training platforms and collaboration tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience as an instructor, trainer, or mentor in a technical domain is strongly preferred.
