Odoo Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Odoo ERP implementation projects from requirement gathering through go-live and post-implementation support.
• Conduct As-Is and To-Be process analysis and identify business process gaps and inefficiencies.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from management and departmental users.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Odoo functional solutions, workflows, and configurations.
• Configure and implement Odoo modules including Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing (MRP), HR/Payroll, POS and Project Management, as applicable.
• Conduct detailed Gap Analysis and determine whether requirements can be handled through standard Odoo configuration, Odoo Studio, or require custom development.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, process flows, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, SOPs and functional specifications.
• Lead client workshops, requirement sessions, demonstrations and solution presentations.
• Coordinate closely with Odoo developers, technical consultants and integration teams to ensure accurate implementation of functional requirements.
• Review and validate custom developments to ensure they meet approved business requirements.
• Design and execute test cases, functional testing, integration testing and UAT.
• Coordinate data migration, master-data preparation, validation and reconciliation.
• Identify and resolve functional issues during implementation and post-go-live operations.
• Lead UAT, user training, knowledge transfer and change-management activities.
• Prepare user manuals, training materials and functional documentation.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies and implementation timelines.
• Act as the primary functional point of contact between business users, management and technical teams.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuously identify opportunities for process automation and ERP optimization.
• Develop or coordinate management reports, dashboards and KPIs based on business requirements.
• Mentor and guide Junior/Mid-Level Odoo Functional Consultants.
• Support pre-sales activities including Odoo demonstrations, solution proposals, requirement assessment and Proof of Concept (POC) where required.
• Stay updated with new Odoo versions, modules, features and ERP best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, ERP, or a related field.
• MBA, MS, ACCA, CA, or relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.
• Odoo Functional Certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ERP concepts and business process management.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and HR processes.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience in Odoo ERP functional consulting/implementation or relevant ERP consulting experience.
• Proven experience in multiple full-cycle Odoo implementations.
• Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, configuration, testing, UAT, training, and go-live.
• Experience working directly with business users, management, and technical/development teams.
• Experience with Odoo versions 14–18 or later is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, distribution, FMCG, packaging, or other industrial environments will be an advantage.

Pay: From Rs200,000.00 per month
