Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Odoo implementation, customization, and business process consulting.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical and functional expertise across Odoo modules, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into effective Odoo solutions.
• Lead and manage end-to-end Odoo implementation and customization projects.
• Conduct requirement gathering, business process analysis, gap analysis, and solution design.
• Configure and customize Odoo modules based on client requirements.
• Work closely with development teams on custom modules, workflows, integrations, and technical enhancements.
• Provide functional and technical guidance across Odoo modules such as Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, Projects, and Invoicing.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements using Odoo.
• Prepare functional specifications, solution documents, workflows, and process documentation.
• Coordinate with developers, QA teams, project managers, and clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Conduct product demonstrations, user training, UAT support, and post-implementation support.
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage multiple client requirements and priorities while maintaining project quality and timelines.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–6 years of strong experience in Odoo implementation and consulting.
• Strong understanding of both Odoo functional and technical aspects.
• Hands-on experience with multiple Odoo modules and business workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo configuration, customization, workflows, access rights, reports, and integrations.
• Good understanding of Odoo architecture and customization capabilities.
• Working knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and Odoo ORM is highly preferred.
• Experience working with Odoo APIs and third-party integrations will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of business processes such as Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Finance.
• Ability to independently handle client discussions, requirement gathering, solutioning, and implementation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent and confident in communicating with international clients and stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple business terms.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on international / GCC / Middle East projects will be an added advantage.
• Odoo certification will be an advantage.
• Experience handling multiple Odoo implementations simultaneously.
• Prior experience in a client-facing consulting role is preferred.

We are looking for someone who is not limited to either the functional or technical side but can understand business requirements, design the right Odoo solution, communicate effectively with clients, and work closely with developers to deliver the solution.

The candidate should be confident, articulate, client-oriented, technically strong, and capable of independently managing Odoo consulting assignments.

Pay: ₹430,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
