ODP - 18 Week Support

About The Role 18 Week Support are seeking a motivated and compassionate ODP to support our Endoscopy clinics across Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient care throughout the endoscopy pathway.

Key Responsibilities

• Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker
• Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward
• Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs
• Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around
• Prepare trolley, anaesthetic machine, take charge of setup, drugs, consumables
• Experienced with Mallampati grading; ability to assist with patient intubation when necessary.
• Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care

About You

• Minimum of 6 months' experience working as an ODP over the last 12 months
• Previous experience within the NHS is essential
• Local nurses within 50 Miles of Bournemouth
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and committed to delivering safe, effective care
