Off Shift Coach (Supervisor) in Training

Position Overview Train and develop the necessary skills to become a Coach in the Paint or Finish Trim Departments. The training for this position will be conducted by the Paint and Finish Trim Managers. Trainee will be responsible for learning the requirements outlined in the job descriptions of the Paint and Finish Trim Coaches. There will be a 6-month evaluation process that can stop the training and return the candidate to the shop floor if they don't meet expected milestones in their training development. The candidate also has the right to withdraw from the program during the 6-month period if they deem that the job is not the right fit for them. When returning to the shop floor the candidate will be awarded an open position that the candidate qualifies for, and their seniority will be adjusted accordingly. Violation of company policy up to termination nullifies this agreement.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Direct support of the employees in department 635,636,637,638.
• Responsible for meeting training milestones.
• Completing assignments as directed by management during the training period.

Position Requirements College degree is preferred but equivalent training and experience will be considered. Must be a strong communicator both verbal and written. Must be dependable and safety conscious. Exhibit leadership, organizational, technical, and problem-solving skills. Be able to interact with all levels of the organization is required. Must be familiar with MS Office. Must be able to work 1st shift, 2nd shift or 3rd shift hours and overtime requirements as needed. (including weekends)

Physical/Mental Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Functions of the Position: Normal standing, bending, walking and lifting in an office environment. Must have the ability to verbally communicate with individuals.
