What they need

PART-TIME BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR | WOLVERHAMPTON

Part-time | 9:00am–2:30pm | Flexible hours

Full time | 8:00am-4:00am | also Available.

We’re looking for a highly organised, reliable and proactive Business Administrator to join our growing team in Wolverhampton.

This is an important role within the business, helping to keep our day-to-day operations organised and making sure projects run smoothly from booking through to completion.

You’ll work closely with our existing team, who will provide support and guidance, but we’re looking for someone who is confident taking ownership of tasks, staying organised and making sure nothing gets missed.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

* Managing and maintaining our work planner

* Coordinating projects from initial booking through to completion

* Making sure all required steps are completed before and after installations

* Coordinating with the installation team to ensure everyone knows what needs to be done

* Communicating with customers, suppliers and our team

* Preparing and sending customer invoices

* Following up outstanding payments

* Monitoring project costs and helping keep track of profitability

* Ordering and coordinating labour, scaffolding and materials

* Keeping projects organised and ensuring deadlines are met

* Updating records and maintaining accurate business information

* Helping improve our systems and processes as the business continues to grow

* Providing general administrative support across the business

Social Media & Content

We’d also love someone who has an interest in social media and content creation.

Experience with Facebook and Instagram would be a bonus, including:

* Creating and scheduling posts

* Posting project updates and completed work

* Editing short videos/reels

* Helping showcase the work our team does

* Keeping our social media presence active and engaging

Social media experience isn’t essential, but it would be a valuable addition to the role.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised – able to manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines
  • Reliable and accountable – if you say you’ll do something, you do it
  • Proactive and driven – you can see what needs doing and take ownership
  • Good with numbers – comfortable dealing with invoices, costs and figures
  • A strong communicator – confident speaking with customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Tech savvy – comfortable using computers, planners and business software
  • Commercially minded – interested in helping the business become more efficient and profitable
  • A team player – willing to work closely with our existing team and make use of their knowledge and experience
  • Ambitious – interested in growing with the business and taking on more responsibility over time

Previous experience in business administration, office administration, construction, installation or project coordination would be beneficial, but it’s not essential.

We’re more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude, organisation and willingness to learn.

A Role With Real Responsibility

This isn’t simply a role where you’ll be answering phones and completing basic admin.

You’ll play an important part in helping us keep the business organised, making sure projects stay on track and ensuring important tasks don’t get overlooked.

You’ll have the support of our existing team and won’t be expected to know everything from day one.

As the business grows, there will be opportunities for the right person to develop their role, take on more responsibility and grow with the company.

Hours

Part-time: 9:00am–2:30pm

We can offer some flexibility around the working hours for the right person.

The role will be based in Wolverhampton.

How to Apply

If you’re organised, proactive and looking for a part-time role where you can make a real difference within a growing business, we’d love to hear from you.

Please apply with your CV and a short message telling us a little about yourself, your experience and why you think you’d be a good fit for the role.
