Office Administrator – Online Florist

About the role

We're looking for a reliable, upbeat Office Administrator to join us long term, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. Your main focus will be customer service and keeping orders moving through the warehouse — answering emails and phone calls, processing orders, and printing shipping labels. You'll be the person who keeps the day running smoothly. Because we're a small team, we all muck in when needed. If someone's away or on leave, you may be asked to help pack flowers, take product photos, or make up bouquets. No floristry experience is required — we'll teach you everything you need to know. This is a long-term role and we're looking for someone who wants to settle in and grow with us.

Key responsibilities

• Managing customer emails and phone enquiries through Gmail
• Taking orders over the phone with a warm, professional manner
• Processing orders in Shopify and printing shipping labels
• Keeping on top of general office admin
• Stepping in to help with packing, photography, or making bouquets when the team needs a hand

About you

• The right to work in New Zealand long term (NZ citizen or permanent resident)
• Confident, quick, and accurate on a computer — Mac or Microsoft, we're not fussy
• Experience with (or ability to pick up quickly) Shopify, Gmail, and standard office tools
• Comfortable with printers, label printers, and general office tech
• Excellent phone etiquette — friendly, clear, and professional
• Reliable, organised, and able to manage your own day
• Happy to roll up your sleeves and help out with warehouse work when needed
• A positive attitude and genuine team-player mindset
• Looking for a long-term role, not a stopgap
