Office and Classroom Assistant

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist office staff with various managerial, financial, and logistical duties.
• Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities.
• Support students with special educational needs, including those with disabilities or autism, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations and encouragement.
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive classroom behavior and social-emotional development.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring or mentoring to students who need extra help in reading, writing, or math.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor student progress and communicate effectively about individual needs and achievements.

Experience

• Experience working with children in educational settings such as classrooms, childcare centers, or private schools is preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and families are required.

Pay: $43,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
