Office Cleaner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and welcoming environment in our clients offices premises in Thame High Street. The role involves cleaning at two sites located within a very short walking distance of each other: Wills & Trust Solicitors (2 hours and 30 minutes) and WT Solicitors (1 hour and 10 minutes).

The hours for this role are as follows -

Monday: 17.00 - 20.40

Wednesday: 17.00 - 20.40

Friday - 17.00 - 20.40

This is a lone working role plus a key holder position, requiring the candidate to lock up the premises after the shift has finished. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services. This role is essential in ensuring that our workspace remains tidy, hygienic, and conducive to productivity.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines
• Ensure any cleaning stores are kept clean, tidy and stocked ensuring equipment is stored correctly and safely at all times
• Comply with all company and client policies and statutory regulations including Health and Safety, safe working practice, fire and COSHH
• Clean and maintain all rooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and kept in pristine condition.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
• Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces to ensure clarity and cleanliness.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used effectively and stored correctly.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with colleagues.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safe handling practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations.

The Successful Candidate:

The successful candidate will be given a full induction into the company and training in their duties.

Due to the nature of our clients business a Standard DBS check will be conducted at the company’s expense.

Any job offer will be made on the condition of satisfactory results from DBS and reference checks.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 11.0 per week
