About the role

TW CONSTRUCTION & DESIGN COMPANY LIMITED is seeking an experienced Office Engineer to join our growing team in Bangkok. This is a full-time position based in Bangkok, offering the opportunity to contribute to significant civil and structural engineering projects from our office environment. As an Office Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting project delivery, design coordination, and technical management across our construction and design operations. This position is integral to ensuring project success through meticulous planning, coordination, and technical oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications and construction documents for civil and structural engineering projects
• Conduct site inspections and prepare comprehensive inspection reports to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure project alignment
• Assist in project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring to ensure timely delivery
• Review and analyse construction materials, testing results and compliance documentation
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and documentation for project files and client submissions
• Support the estimation of construction costs and resource requirements for projects
• Liaise between the office-based design team and on-site construction teams to facilitate effective communication
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation in accordance with company procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in civil or structural engineering within a construction or design environment
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards and engineering principles relevant to civil and structural works
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering design tools
• Excellent technical drawing interpretation and preparation skills
• Ability to perform site inspections and prepare detailed technical documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Thai
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of project management principles and construction processes is advantageous
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) software is preferred
