Office Engineer/Document Controller

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, register, distribute, and file all incoming and outgoing project documents.
• Maintain and organized document control system for drawings, specifications, reports, correspondence and other project records.
• Assist in evaluation of progress reports, contractor's billing, claims, and project status updates.
• Follow up with contractors on document submission and pending approvals.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of project information and records.
• Generate document status reports, tracking, logs and submission registers.
• Ensure document control procedures comply with company quality management systems and project requirements.
• Verify that all documentation meets contractual and regulatory standards.

List of knowledge and skills required.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Professional license (if applicable) is an advantage but not required.
• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with document management systems and project documentation processes.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and, technical documents.
• Knowledge of filing systems, document numbering, revision control and records management.
