Reporting to the Practice Manager and Accounts Manager, you will assist with a broad range of administrative and office duties while gaining valuable experience within a busy and highly regarded law firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is keen to learn, develop new skills and become an important part of a supportive and professional team.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general administrative support to the wider office and legal teams
  • Answering and directing telephone calls and assisting with general enquiries

As you develop in the role, there will be opportunities to learn additional administrative and legal support functions and take on greater responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional and friendly manner
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • A willingness to learn and take on new tasks
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A positive, proactive and reliable approach to work

Previous administration or office experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.

About You

We are looking for someone who is keen to get their administration career started.

You may already have some experience in an office environment and be looking for an opportunity to expand your skills, or you may be looking to begin your professional career from scratch.

You will receive the training and support required to succeed in the role, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the operations of a busy law firm and develop your professional skills.

This is a rare opportunity to start at the ground level with genuine potential to grow and develop your career within the firm.
