What they need

Looking for a role where you can take charge, keep things organised and make sure everything gets done?

ARC Electrical Group is looking for an Office Manager to join its growing commercial electrical business.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for keeping the office running, coordinating jobs, managing accounts and supporting the directors. You'll be dealing with builders, suppliers and electricians, making sure projects are organised, invoices go out on time and nothing falls through the cracks.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, is confident dealing with tradespeople and doesn't need to be told what to do every step of the way.

ARC Electrical Group is a growing commercial electrical business working with regular builder clients on projects including factories, childcare centres and other commercial developments.

You'll join a small, easy-going team and work with the directors, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the office.

As the business grows, there is an opportunity to take on more responsibility in scheduling, quoting and project administration.

Requirements

  • Managing day-to-day office administration, calls and emails
  • Coordinating jobs, scheduling electricians and keeping project records up to date
  • Preparing quotes, raising invoices and managing accounts in Xero
  • Liaising with builders, customers, suppliers and electricians
  • Setting up jobs and maintaining documentation in our job management software
  • Tracking project costs, supplier invoices and outstanding payments
  • Managing compliance records, insurances and project documentation
  • Improving office systems and processes as the business grows

You are someone who:

  • Is highly organised and has excellent attention to detail
  • Takes initiative and gets things done without constant supervision
  • Can manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks
  • Is comfortable working in a busy trades environment
  • Can identify problems and find solutions rather than waiting for instructions

Experience in office management, administration or service coordination is preferred, ideally within a trades, construction or service-based business.

Experience with Xero or job management software is an advantage, but not essential. We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude who can take ownership of the role.

Benefits

  • Full-time position, Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 am–4:00 pm
  • Hybrid working arrangement, initially 4 days onsite and 1 day remote
  • 70,000–90,000 per year, depending on experience and ability.
  • Small, easy-going team
  • Opportunity to grow with the business

Apply now with your resume and a cover letter telling us why you are the best fit for this position.
