Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation to the mission-critical industry, is searching for a detail-oriented and technical Office Manager to join our El Paso, TX data center construction and commissioning team. In this role, you will act as the technical and administrative backbone for complex mission-critical projects, managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and quality control logs. You will bridge the gap between field engineering teams, project managers, design engineers, and trade contractors to ensure high-availability data center infrastructure is delivered safely, on schedule, and to precise specification.
Key Responsibilities
Document Control & Submittals: Manage the end-to-end Request for Information (RFI) and technical submittal review processes for electrical, mechanical, and testing scopes.
Technical Logs & Compliance: Maintain precise logs for RFIs, submittals, field observation reports, change orders, and commissioning documentation using project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, ACC/BIM 360).
Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a central communication link between project managers, field superintendents, commissioning engineers, NETA technicians, and trade contractors.
Cost & Change Management: Assist project leadership with reviewing contractor pay applications, tracking change orders, quantifying material variations, and monitoring project budgets.
Meeting & Site Administration: Organize and document Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) and subcontractor coordination meetings, track open action items, and distribute clear meeting minutes.
Quality Assurance & Safety Support: Track quality control (QA/QC) punch lists, site safety compliance logs, inspection records, and early commissioning documentation (L1–L3 readiness).
Project Closeout: Compile NETA test reports, operations & maintenance (O&M) manuals, warranties, as-built drawings, and final Cx deliverables for seamless handoff to operations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of engineering or construction administration experience, preferably in mission-critical environments (data centers, high-voltage substations, or industrial facility construction).
Software Proficiency: Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam Revu, ACC/BIM 360, MS Excel).
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical power distribution systems, NETA testing standards, generators, UPS systems, and BMS/EPMS workflows.
Communication Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
