  • Assist with special projects and company initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding business and personnel matters.

Office Management

  • Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, vendors, and service providers.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and office organization.
  • Develop, implement, and improve office procedures and workflows.
  • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and invoice management.
  • Plan company meetings, employee events, and client-facing functions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for general office needs.

Human Resources

  • Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer preparation.
  • Maintain personnel files and employee records.
  • Administer benefits enrollment and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
  • Support payroll preparation and coordinate with payroll providers.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and workplace regulations.
  • Assist managers with performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
  • Support employee relations by fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and HR documentation.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in office administration, executive support, human resources, or business operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, judgment, and discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting a small business, professional services firm, or entrepreneurial organization.
  • Knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification.

Desired Attributes

The successful candidate will be:

  • Resourceful and solutions-oriented.
  • Comfortable handling a wide variety of responsibilities.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Approachable, professional, and service-focused.
  • Adaptable and able to shift priorities as business needs evolve.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and building trust across the organization.
