Officer - Compliance

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence, vendors, business partners, consultants, and other third parties.
• Review and assess compliance-related documents, records, declarations, and supporting information.
• Conduct background checks and identify potential compliance risks, discrepancies, or red flags.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of due diligence and compliance activities.
• Monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations, and compliance requirements and advise relevant stakeholders accordingly.
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal compliance policies and procedures.
• Assist in conducting compliance reviews, audits, and periodic assessments.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies for compliance-related matters.
• Prepare compliance reports, MIS, trackers, and management updates.
• Ensure timely closure and follow-up of compliance observations and identified risks.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and third-party information.
• Perform any other compliance-related duties assigned by the management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of compliance processes and due diligence practices.
• Good analytical and risk-assessment skills.
• Strong documentation and report-writing abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently handle multiple compliance activities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
