Officer Logistic Section

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall logistics, warehouse, inventory, transportation, distribution, and import activities to support operational requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, including import shipments, customs clearance, material movements, and timely delivery to the receiving warehouse.
• Coordinate with forwarding agents, shipping lines, transporters, customs authorities, and other logistics service providers to ensure efficient logistics operations.
• Verify import and shipping documents against purchase orders and shipment details, and ensure compliance with Customs, LMW, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accurate receiving, storage, issuance, and internal transfer of raw materials, finished products, spare parts, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.
• Maintain accurate ERP transactions, including material receipts, invoice postings, inventory updates, marine insurance declarations, and other logistics-related records.
• Prepare and maintain logistics, import, inventory, and receiving reports, including submissions required by Customs and other regulatory authorities.
• Supervise warehouse operations and personnel, ensuring proper material handling, housekeeping, safety practices, environmental compliance, and scheduled waste management.
• Monitor logistics and warehouse performance, resolve shipment and customs-related issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Support audits, inspections, team administration, and other duties assigned by Management or the immediate superior to ensure smooth logistics and supply chain operations.
• Work Location: Samalaju Plant.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, import/export, or supply chain operations.
• Good knowledge of import/export procedures, Customs regulations, LMW requirements, and shipping documentation.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and transportation management.
• Familiar with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments effectively.
• Experience in supervising warehouse personnel and logistics operations is preferred.
• Possess a valid driving license and forklift competency certification (if applicable) will be an added advantage.
