Officer, Operations Control Centre

Responsibilities

• To assist Manager OCC/Duty Manager OCC to control the daily operations to ensure safe, legal, effective and economical operation of company aircraft;
• To control and manage Operations Control Centre to ensure effective and successful maintenance of all planned flight programs;
• To assist operating flight crew in flight preparation and to provide the required information to support HKC flight operations during flight;
• Ensure that accurate Computer Flight Plans, meteorological data, flight planning, navigation, weight & balance information, performance data and Crew documents are made available for pre-flight briefing;
• Flight Monitoring and Tracking;
• Issue such instructions concerning aircraft and crew utilization as necessary to relevant departments;
• Bring to the pilot-in-command’s attention any irregular operation including aircraft technical, airport, airway, navigation or communication facilities, with particular regard to curfews affecting the availability of airports;
• Perform crew roster re-assignment to ensure no infringement on the Flight Time Limitation Scheme.

Minimum Requirements

• HKCEE/DSE or above;
• 1-2 years’ experience in airport operation or aircraft handling;
• Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin. Testing of the English standard will be made via academic qualification;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Holder of valid Hong Kong Driving License Class 1;
• Able to work under pressure and independently;
• Willing to work shift duties with early start and/or late finish (including overnight shift).
