Officer, Security

The Security Officer is entry-level & responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property at all times. This role involves monitoring the premises, enforcing security procedures, and responding promptly to incidents or emergencies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Patrol assigned areas to monitor for unusual activity, security breaches, or safety hazards.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems to ensure property security.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, or guest-related concerns.
• Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Control access points, including checking identification and granting visitor entry as per protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of incidents, patrols, and observations.
• Assist in crowd control during events or high-traffic periods.
• Report any suspicious activity, maintenance issues, or potential risks to supervisors.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Uphold professional appearance, conduct, and demeanor at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Security Officer preferred, ideally in hospitality, corporate, or large facilities.
• Knowledge of security procedures, safety protocols, and emergency response.
• Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay alert, focused, and respond quickly under pressure.
• Able to work long hours, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Professional behavior at all times.
